weekends.

This weekend is lovely. I have 4 days. So that means I might actually get my homework done. And maybe some shopping for school too. Oh am I a slacker. Today is day 3 of the weekend and I have just barely started my homework that is due on Thursday. Think I can get it done? Hope so!!! It's 25% of the grade for the character ed class. Which I think is insane. I already teach all this, and the prof who is giving the assignment knows me really well and knows I teach this and all about my unit since she was at a few meetings where I presented the unit to my teacher peers. And I still have to do it. Bugger. Hate that. Oh well... at least I have it started-ish, right? I guess I should finish it, or at least work on it some more.

Wellllllll.... you should know.

I have a honey... isn't he adorable? I sure think he is! I suppose the story of how we met and fell for each other is due. But, it's late, so it'll have to be delivered another time.

I love this picture of us, except the seat belts. But we're obviously very safe in the car, right? That we'd get in and put our seat belts on right away? And didn't even think to take them off to take a picture. I wish we had, but oh well.

We went up to the temple to look at the lights and see the stuff in the visitors center. He had much better pictures, but I haven't gotten them from him yet.

The kiddies at Christmas

Isn't Abby adorable? The earrings and the "lipstick" she's putting on?!! Hilarious!! She had to wear those earrings and put them on first thing in the morning.

Grandma and Grandpa. I love my momma and poppa. Even if Dad is pulling a Mr. Rogers. They're so cute!

My little sister and older sister. Post-singing of every Christmas song known to man. It's tradition.

Holly and her beau. I don't think she knew I took this...

Tori and I while we were singing Christmas songs. You should see Tori rock out. The girl has some serious moves. Watch her here. The hip action and headbanging are priceless.

The girls LOVE Alex. And he's not quite sure what he's done to deserve such a punishment, but there Abby is cuddled up to him.

Remember how I said the girls love Alex?.... yeah.

Ellie got a new barbie!!!

Drew is rocking the sunglasses - he thought they were hilarious! Isn't my sister beautiful?

I think it's hilarious that Drew poses for pictures. He's at that fun age where he does goofy things like that.

Christmas 2008 part 1

Drew and Grandpa having fun playing on the couch. Drew LOVED going upside-down like that!

Abby had to get in on the fun too! Grandpa likes to play it cool, but you can tell he's LOVING having the kids crawling all over him vying for his attention!

I had fun decorating my house this year. I have a lovely mantle and decorated it the same as my couch table. I loved it, it was so pretty all lit up!

I love the light behind the flowers. This is a bouquet Paul and Jill sent Mom for coming to stay with them while Jill was adjusting to new little Jacob. It was really beautiful!

Mmmm Peanut Blossoms! These aren't necessarily pretty, but I loved taking a picture of them. I did these and the snickerdoodles on the same day. I was busy!

I love this picture of the snickerdoodles. It almost makes me feel like a food photographer. Oh to have a fancy camera!!! But I love what I get from my new little point-n-shoot!
